Vvidget Builder User Manual

Overview > Inspector Editor

An Inspector Editor is a special type of editor that resides in its own location called an Inspector. The Inspector Editor provides an interface between the user (you) and a Vvidget (usually a graphic). That interface is a collection of various controls which alter parameters of the Vvidget one at a time.

The figure below shows a circle and its representation in the circle's Inspector Editor. Of course, the "circle" is a misnomer as the graphic is more like an ellipse with pie section cut out and gradient applied, but one of the degenerate forms of the graphic is that of a circle. Graphics are many times referred to by their most simple form within its class even though that form is not represented at the time.

The Inspector Editor shown above is in a separate window called an Inspector Window. However, it can show up in Vvidget Builder in many forms, including as control elements on the Vvidget Builder Document Window.
