Question: How do I program (automate) graph generation?

• Answer: See the section Automation.

Question: I want to plot data, but don't seem to find anyway to do it. How do I plot data?

• Answer: You don't actually plot data. You "draw" it. You must first create the graphics to put the data into. The data is an attribute of a graphic. It is a little more work, but much more general than other techniques. Once you figure out which graphics you use the most often it is recommended to put them on a Palette so you can quickly make copies of them.

  The following explaination is described in detail in the section Getting Data On A Graph.

  To draw data, first determine which graphic you want data to be associated with, usually a Function or other Data Graphic. Then draw a Graph, double click on the graph to focus on a data layer of the graph then use the Graphic Selector to choose the Function type and drag out a function graphic. Finally, use the Inspector Editor to paste the white space delimited data as a function graphic attribute and click the update button on the Inspector Editor.
